Volunteers Needed!
Please read this carefully. The spring is chock-full of events (and volunteer opportunities!) that require your participation to ensure they run smoothly.
If we do not get volunteers to help plan these events, we may need to cancel them.
MLK DAY OF SERVICE Planning Meeting - Jan 7
Each year, MLK DAY (Jan 21) volunteers descend on the school to tackle midyear cleaning and small facilities based projects. Those who've participated in the past can attest to the rewards of the day! BUT... We need new participation for the day to run smoothly - while our long-standing chair is no longer in the Greenfield community, a few of last year's committee members can show a new/willing committee the ropes. Please join us Monday, January 7 at 8:30 (lobby) to find out how you can engage! We need several people with a tool cache, plenty of people willing to put in some elbow grease, and a few people to organize ahead of the day itself. Plans will be dependent on participation levels at Jan 7 planning meeting.
Last weeks
GREENFIELD 2.0 AUCTION kick off was a huge success! We've got over 20 volunteers on board, including most of last year's committee chairs! Planning meetings will take place
EVERY TUESDAY in the library from 8:30-9:00 until the event (March 15). Join us January 8 (or any Tuesday thereafter!) to hear about how you can participate. Questions? -

Wed January 9th (8:30, Library) to assess committee size and general feasibility of executing this year's fair.

Art Auction Volunteers Needed!

g on our class
art projects for the
auction
.
The auction is Greenfield's biggest fundraiser and social event.
This project would be impossible without the participation of many volunteers.
- We are looking for 1-2 parents from each class to develop and design an art project with the students.
- Please anticipate that you will need a couple of hours to plan and get the materials, 2-3 hours working with the students, and an additional 2-3 hours for assembly, depending on the piece.
- Contact your classroom reps if you are interested in volunteering.
Dates to remember:
- Project ideas and parent volunteer names are due to the HSA by Friday, January 17.
- Completed projects are due Friday, February 15.
- The Auction is Friday, March 15.

On December 21st, Student Voice , a Middle School after-school program led by Mr. Neary, hosted three "Game Show" assemblies. Students and teachers/staff participated in a variety of games such as Junk in the Trunk, Trivia, Charades with a twist, Build a Snowman and a surprise game with Principal Lazar. It was a huge hit!
