Debate News!
Mr. Staab would like to congratulate Abi Kwon and Reese Covalle for taking 1st Place once again. The team of 8th Grade girls went undefeated to take the trophy home and Reese also took home the top speaker award as well.
7th Graders Shayna Vegaga and Jaden Gillion also did amazing, winning their first two rounds and narrowly missing out on a perfect 3-0 performance.
Students were debating the new Winter/Spring topic about the US adopting a nationwide $15 minimum wage. We compete again at Central High School in March.

YOU'RE INVITED!
TICKETS ON SALE NOW!
The Auction is ONE MONTH AWAY!
Last year's event was a HUGE hit. We've kept what's been working - an online silent auction, live auction for all classroom art and distribution and T-shirt sales at school the following week. But this year we have a bigger, exciting new space - Penn's Rockwell Gym!
Don't wait to get your tickets! Advance tickets are just $50 each.
Amazing items up for grabs - art, memorable culinary experiences, vacations, gift cards and more!
But the Auction isn't JUST bidding!
It's about our incredible COMMUNITY!
It's about amazing FOOD & DRINKS!
It's about a worthy CAUSE!
It's about a worthy CAUSE! The proceeds from this year's auction will create a Technology Fund to support the purchase of Chromebooks and Smartboards to offset wear and tear and obsolescence, and provide enrichment opportunities in coding, robotics and computational thinking.
We thank you for your love and support of Greenfield.

Please review the available volunteer opportunities for this school year. Please sign up for an event you'd like to help with, and the chair of the event will reach out to share more details. We look forward to a successful 2019-2020 school year! |
Lunchtime Volunteers
The lunchroom is a busy space for our children. We are hoping to add some parent volunteers to the K-4 lunch periods in the cafeteria to ease some of the chaos and help the kids eat lunch quickly.
Please consider signing up for a lunch period to help. Please reach out to Reva Batheja Ruiz if you have any questions. Reminder: to volunteer your clearances must be on file in the front office.
