Brush Pickup Season has started!

New Hours for the Camera Obscura

The Camera Obscura is back open with a new door every Friday through Sunday from 10am-12pm.

Organizational Meeting this Thursday

The Village annual organizational meeting is Thursday, April 24th at 6pm at the 3rd Street Firehouse. New committees on Housing and for the Mini Railroad are to be announced.

Carousel and Mini Railroad Reopening TBA

Tentative opening dates are slated for Memorial Day weekend for the Mini Railroad and early summer for the Carousel. Stay tuned for updates or changes!

Earth Day

Our annual village clean up tomorrow from 8:30-10:30am. Meet at the Mini Train on Moore's Lane or Monsell Trail at the end of North Street. Bring gloves, tick protection, buckets, pick up sticks - bags will be provided.

Egg Roll - Easter egg hunt tomorrow at 10:30am for ages 2-8 in Mitchell Park.

Cherry Blossom Festival

The annual festivities start Saturday, April 26th with a 5k around town starting at 9am at 3rd Street Park, and continue through May with a self-guided walking tour and specials and discounts downtown. More information here: https://agrocouncil.org/event/cherry-blossom-festival-petal-tour-2025/

Historic District Information Session

The Historic Preservation Committee has been holding Question & Answer Information Gathering Sessions on the idea of expanding the historic district to Village boundaries. The last one is Saturday, May 10th at 3pm at Floyd Memorial Library in the Community Room.

Fire Department RecruitNY Events

The Fire Department will have recruitment events and a light bulb giveaway on Saturday, April 26th from 10am-2pm in Mitchell Park and at Station 1, and from 12-3pm on Sunday, April 27th at both stations. Stop by to learn more about volunteering for this vital service!
