Alumni Homecoming and Family Weekend
September 24-25, 2021
Join us as our campus community gathers during the Alumni Homecoming and Family Weekend September 24th through the 25th to celebrate our alumni's past successes and future endeavors. It will be a time to reconnect with old friends and welcome new alumni to come.

Due to the COVID pandemic last year, the college is celebrating the 50th reunion for both the class of '70 and '71. We’ll also celebrate the 60th, 40th and 20th class reunions. And we’re excited to announce that the college will be celebrating with the Class of 2020 whose graduation had to be virtual last year because of COVID-19. The college will recreate the traditional front-campus experience that our graduates love.
Look for more details in our upcoming newsletters or on the GC Alumni Events webpage.

New Entryway Under Construction for Main Building
Construction on the Main Building Circle entry (backside of building) has begin and should be completed before students arrive in the fall. This new historically correct design will provide improved ADA access to the building. The college will continue to assess and upgrade shared spaces on campus to provide a safer and more accessible experience.
GC Launches Internal Campaign Promoting
COVID-19 Vaccinations
Although some private colleges are making vaccinations mandatory for students and faculty and staff, Greensboro College will not do so, which is consistent with the UNC system. Vaccinations are readily available to anyone age 12 or over who wants one. Greensboro College has rolled out a vaccination campaign strongly encouraging as-yet-unvaccinated students, faculty, and staff to get vaccinated this summer. We especially want to encourage our students to get vaccinated so that they can have a more normal experience next year.

We're asking them to take their best shot and fight COVID-19!
