PEOPLE
Meet Janiece Robinson, Public Speaking Consultant
Etiquette & Protocol Specialist, Bold Move Intl.
A city girl from the suburbs of Detroit, Janiece found herself landing in the place of leadership since a child. As she settled into adulthood, she began to understand more fully why. She is a curious listener who connects easily with people and she is energized by delivering an important message. Speech coaching combines all that Janiece does best. She is a combustion of sparks that ignites others to come to life as confident presenters who communicate effectively.
Janiece knows that standing up and talking is much different than standing up and making a difference and this informs how she develops speakers. Executives of Fortune 500 companies, national sales directors, presidents and vice presidents of regional advertising firms, CEOs of non-profit organizations, small business owners, religious leaders and customer service representatives: these are some of the people whose speaking has been transformed by Janiece and her coaching technique.
Teaching is at the heart of Janiece’s work. She began her career as a professor and served on the speech faculties of two colleges after completing her graduate work in Rhetoric and Drama. She is also a licensed Business Etiquette and Protocol Specialist through the Protocol School of Washington.
Janiece has never met a stranger and she has never met someone she could not help with public speaking—from practicing pauses in a corporate board room to helping the guy next to her on a flight rewrite his best man speech. She is excited to do the same for you.

Meet Michael Ciaccia, Audience Development and Sales Manager, Peace Center and GCYP Marketing Chair

Michael studied at Monroe Community College in Rochester, NY. He received an Associate’s Degree in Liberal Arts/General Studies. He currently serves as Audience Development and Sales Manager at the Peace Center. Over the course of three years, he has increased attendance in the organization. This is a result of his being an advocate of more culturally diverse programming, as well as increasing community partnerships and promotions. The Peace Center presents the world’s finest performers, provides arts education and outreach, and supports local arts organizations. These efforts further the cultural advancement, arts appreciation, and economic development in our region.

Michael Ciaccia has been involved as an active member of GCYP for the past 3 years. He currently serves on the Advisory Council of GCYP and is co-chair of the marketing committee. He considers the program a very important facet of both his personal and professional life. Michael advises other young professionals “to be a part of your community and take advantage of the opportunities that you have to network. Meet your peers and business leaders. You can always find a way to connect to someone. Networking is not as hard as it seems.”

Michael also serves on the board of Upstate Pride South Carolina as the Greenville Outreach Coordinator. In his free time, he enjoys the Saturday Market, Broadway shows at the Peace Center, and the fall apple cider donuts at Skytop. He will be getting married in October 2019 to his fiancé, Santino, Director of Community Life at Waterstone on Augusta.
