Get involved with Summer Break Café

The Summer Break Café is South Carolina's statewide program that ensures that children continue to receive nutritious meals during the summer, when they do not have access to school meals. Want to get more involved in bolstering the Summer Break Café program in Greenville? The Food Security Coalition will be convening a Summer Break Café Action Circle that will meet in April to look at accessibility and opportunities for wrap around services at Summer Break Café Sites. If you are interested in joining the Summer Break Café Action Circle email Susan Frantz to get included in communications.

Thanks for your help!

Thank you to those of you who helped disseminate and completed the 2024 Greenville County Food Assistance Provider Survey. We had more than 51 food assistance providers complete the survey and the data was used to update the Greenville Food Resource Guide and inform the work of the coalition. We look forward to sharing the data with you all at the next partner meeting in May.

If you notice missing or inaccurate information in the guide, please reach out to DeAndra Reasonover-Winjobi to update.
