The November 2023 real estate market reports are out for the Greater Greenville area, and we wanted to share a few highlights with you. Here are some key performance indicators for November 2023 as compared to November 2022.

Greater Greenville Results, November 2023 - Single Family Dwellings and Condos

Total Closed Sales - 1,143 vs 1,200 in Nov. 2022, a 4.8% decrease year over year.

Average Days on Market - 44 vs. 35 days in Nov. 2022, a 25.7% increase YOY

Inventory on Hand - 4,055 units vs. 3,522 units in Nov. 2022, a 15% increase YOY.

New Listings - 1,523 units vs.1,333 in Nov. 2022, an 15.2 % increase YOY.

Median Sales Price - $312,750 vs $303,945 in Nov. 2022, a 2.9% increase YOY.

We continue to see a reduction in the number of monthly sales, year over year. However, prices continue to increase modestly. The amount of inventory on hand also continues to increase monthly but still remains at levels that are conducive to a sellers' market at 3.3 months of inventory on hand. If the upstate continues to be a top destination in 2024 and inventory remains in relatively short supply, we may continue to see prices remain strong.
