Surveying The Summer on The Greenway
From the return of splash pads where people can unwind on hot summer days, to the new public art activations and screening of movies where people can gather to enjoy and discuss shared experiences - summer is in full swing on The Greenway. While there is much to survey and explore along the 1.5 miles of the park that connects our downtown neighborhoods and fosters connections within our city, we’re also eager to hear about your experience with The Greenway and ask you to participate in our 2022 Greenway BID stakeholder survey.

We’re hoping that you will complete this short survey (should only a few minutes to complete!) to help us understand how our membership uses The Greenway, learn more about your current impressions of the park, and inform future enhancement spending in support of bettering the park for all.
This survey is a follow-up from when we last polled BID members, property managers, and tenants in 2019 – you can find a high-level overview of our findings here. Your responses this year will help us to establish a benchmark of how Greenway BID stakeholders like you view the park outside their properties as well as the park system overall.

Everything that happens on The Greenway and the future of this special piece of the public realm benefits from the support of Greenway BID members and its Board of Directors. By sharing your experience with the park, you’re helping us to engage in thoughtful planning and placemaking, consensus building, and civic engagement that is critical for the future vibrancy of The Greenway, the City of Boston, and the Commonwealth.

Gala on The Greenway & Glow in the Park
Thank you for helping make this year’s Gala on The Greenway and Glow in the Park events the most successful ever! The 500 revelers who attended these events helped to raise a record sums to support the Conservancy’s stewardship, operations, and programming of The Greenway. This year, The Greenway’s beloved Rings Fountain served as a stunning centerpiece for this unforgettable outdoor cocktail party where Mayor Michelle Wu was the featured honoree.

The support of these events, along with the ongoing support of the Greenway BID, helps to ensure The Greenway will continue to be a vibrant gathering place that showcases public art, enthralling performances, film screenings, food trucks, drinkeries, markets, and more to draw people back to downtown and re-energize the city.
