GETTING READY FOR A NEW YEAR ON THE GREENWAY

As we reflect upon 2021 and prepare to welcome the new year in 2022, we thank you for your support of The Greenway through the BID and beyond.
Together, we broke ground on Boston’s newest park space with the help of elected officials, made placemaking and safety improvements to a critical community gathering space in Chinatown, supported the Conservancy through another difficult year for nonprofits, and helped to activate The Greenway for returning workers, visitors, and residents through the (re)Discover The Greenway program that brought music, movies, performances, as well as other activations and amenities throughout the park. Be sure to check out our ice sculpture with the Conservancy as part of the annual Ice Sculpture Stroll if you are able to safely make it downtown this New Year's Eve!

2022 will be another big year for The Greenway and the BID with the ribbon cutting for North Meadow on The Greenway, Chinatown lighting improvements, other thoughtful enhancements, and working together to set the BID up for success in its next 5-year term. Stay tuned for early steps like the next iteration of our stakeholder survey! The BID team will be in touch to collect contact information for property managers, tenants, and other stakeholders you'd like to have participate in the survey.
As always, we sincerely appreciate your support and dedication to The Greenway and the Greenway BID. If you have any questions or feedback on this newsletter, please contact Tom Ryan at tryan@abettercity.org.
