ENGin Announcements - August|1

Read the Ukrainian version here

This is ENGin’s founder Katerina. Before we jump into our usual announcements, I’d like to personally ask you to make a donation to our program.

As you know, we are a nonprofit, and we rely on donations to run ENGin. You may not have a lot to donate, but I promise you - every single donation makes a difference.

And here’s a little secret: as the founder of the program, donations from students mean the most to me. Because I started ENGin for you - and when you give back to ENGin, it shows that you believe in us. It is a powerful way to say, “ENGin matters. ENGin helped me. ENGin should continue to exist.”

We’re halfway through our Back to School fundraiser, and only 47 students have made donations so far. I hope we can do much better than that. Please take a moment to donate any amount here.

Thank you so much!!

Hundreds of ENGin students are currently working on free Coursera and Udemy courses. And several dozen have already completed a course. Here’s some feedback from one of them, Yehor Yutkin, who chose an HTML Basics course on Udemy:

«I was very excited to have the opportunity to learn. Previously learning something with the internet was difficult since you should search for the information, structure it and filter, but gaining access to the platform makes it much easier and allows you to focus strictly on studying».

Well done, Yehor! 🤩 We hope you will continue learning on Udemy platform and discuss your new knowledge with your ENGin buddy during weekly sessions! September is almost here, so take advantage of your free summer time now and learn with ENGin! 📌Find more information about the opportunity here
