BENEFITS OF SMARTGUARD

SCHMIDT ® SmartGuard Package, Includes

  • Low force linear motor driven system, CE safety type approved (no pneumatics)
  •  ESD type Lexan package that encloses pressing area only (sized slightly larger than press platen).
  •  Tied into dual channel safety circuit via PLe rated safety interlock
  •  Programmable:
            - Stroke – 280 mm, from fully closed point
            - Opening speed – 200-1000 mm/s
            - Closing speed – 200-500 mm/s
            - Closing force – 35 N to 69 N
            - OK/NOK reaction (open after cycle or stay closed until system is reset after fault)
