Ashlie Welte

Ashlie Welte is a singer/songwriter/actor with a passion for finding the fun and celebration in all she does. Spending most of her life on the stage in numerous musical theater productions her favorite show to date was her one-woman show " Dreams and Detours" which she wrote, produced, and performed to a sold-out audience in New York City.

ANNOUNCEMENTS

Working Together

CSLN is an open and loving place, and our Board of Trustees represents a microcosm of our community. Not only do we represent the community as a whole, we are members of the community. If you ever have a question or concern about a board decision or have an idea/suggestion, please contact a board member directly to address your questions, concerns and ideas. This is the only way we have of knowing what people want. If you would rather email admin@cslnashville.org or leave a written suggestion in the suggestion box outside the bookstore you can do that as well.

Let’s work together to model our teaching for our Community and Nashville and build a Center that is based on Love, mutual respect and trust.

Law of Circulation – Giving and Receiving

As we announced at our Town Hall Meeting on Sunday, after much discussion and prayer, the Board decided to assist our Community with the energy of the Law of Circulation by giving to one entity and two individuals who have gone over and beyond in assisting our Center and continue to feed our Center Spiritually. The recipients of these gifts are the Centers For Spiritual Living – Home Office; Rev. Dr. Mitch Johnson and Rev. Denise Yeargin. We also have increased our monthly giving to the CSL Home office. These gifts are based on feedback we have received from our community members regarding what our center has received from these recipients. From our hearts, thank you to the CSL Home Office, Rev. Dr. Mitch and Rev. Denise!

CSLN Financials and Budget

We were unable to present our financials and budget as clearly as we wanted at the Town Hall due to Audio/Visual issues. We hope to have those fixed and David Jester, our Board Treasurer, has agreed to be present in the Fellowship Hall after next Sunday's service (September 1st) with copies of both the Year to Date Financials and 2024 Budget and answer any and all questions any Community members may have. Please join David this Sunday after the service if you would like a more detailed look at CSLN's financials.

CSLN and Unity Joint Sunday Service

Mark your calendars for September 29 for a special CSLN and Unity joint Sunday service at 11am!

Celebrating the Legacy of New Thought in Middle Tennessee. CSLN 36 years and Unity of Nashville 108 years. Honoring Rev. Dr. Mitch Johnson and Rev. Jimmie Scott.

Lunch will be catered by Monell’s.

The Art of Candy Paull

The bookstore has been blessed with a number of Candy Paull’s books, including The Art of Simplicity, The Art of Abundance and the Art of Encouragement. Stop by and take a look; there’s bound to be something for you. We also have books for Dr. Mitch’s upcoming class.

Online Service Chat Box Volunteers Needed

CSLN is looking for a few volunteers from our online community to moderate the YouTube chat box on Sunday mornings. This is a great opportunity for our members who prefer watching our service online to get involved and help our online viewers connect. You'll be provided some tools to get you started and can volunteer for as many Sundays per month as you like. Contact Rekell at admin@cslnashville.org if you are interested.

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

 Tonya Miller-Hire, RScP

Spiritual Mind Treatment for Amazing Imagination

I recognize that there is one boundless Creative Power, the very fullness of potential, and expressing in all forms. It is the essence of all imagination.

This divine Power lives as Spirit in me, in every being, and throughout all existence. Each is an instrument for Spirit’s infinite creativity, holding the potential for health, abundance, love, and joy.

Through imagination, Spirit flows freely, aligned with love and the highest good for all. Ideas are clear and vibrant, guided by Spirit’s wisdom, bringing harmony and beauty to all aspects of life.

As gratitude fills my heart, the divine gift of imagination frees my mind. I am thankful for the unlimited possibilities and joy it brings to everyone.

I release this word with trust in the perfect Law, knowing that imagination unfolds in divine alignment and the Creative Power is already manifesting my highest good.

And so it is.
