ANNOUNCEMENTS

Invitation from Unity

Unity has invited us to join them for brunch on August 4 after their service and before ours. Rev. John McLean, Unity's former minister, is returning to speak at their Sunday service. Join Unity in welcoming Rev. John McLean back.

Financial Reporting

We are changing the way we report finances in the newsletter. Rather than reporting on a weekly basis, we will report the previous month financials in the first newsletter of the month. Going forward, we will include our total revenues and expenditures.

Questions & Comments Regarding Last Town Hall

If anyone has questions or comments regarding the last Town Hall meeting and the Interim Minister program, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any board member or email us at admin@cslnashville.org.

Online Service Chat Box Volunteers Needed

CSLN is looking for a few volunteers from our online community to moderate the YouTube chat box on Sunday mornings. This is a great opportunity for our members who prefer watching our service online to get involved and help our online viewers connect. You'll be provided some tools to get you started and can volunteer for as many Sundays per month as you like. Contact Rekell at admin@cslnashville.org if you are interested.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

A New Earth – Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose

Rev. Denise Yeargin requests you join her in studying and discussing Eckhart Tolle’s enlightened book: “A New Earth – Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose.”

In his best selling sequel to the spiritual guide, The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle expands on his life changing ideas to show how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the World.

Rev. Denise will lead us in exploring how our attachment to the ego creates the dysfunction that leads to anger, jealousy, and unhappiness, and learn how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path to a truly fulfilling existence.

We will meet via Zoom starting Thursday, August 1st from 6:30pm to 8pm for 5 weeks. The cost is $100 for this non-certified class. Practitioners and staff ½ off.

Book Available in our Bookstore during July and via Amazon.com

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

 Laura Landress, RScP

I know that there is one, loving, eternal, Universal Mind of God. This Universal Mind of God is the life and center of my being. I am one with Universal Infinite Mind and with great relief, I release the need to control or make things happen.

Universal Mind of God is the perfect, loving and eternal presence within me and I can rely on this presence and this knower to come forth and guide me with whatever I need to know.

I surrender to this amazing and loving intelligence within me knowing the outcome will be better than I expect. I get out of the way and allow God to guide me. Thank you dear Spirit of God within me for taking care of me and lifting my burdens of perfection. With you all things are possible.

I release this my word, knowing it is true, and I give great thanks for this knowing.

And So It is!
