ANNOUNCEMENTS

Regarding Last Town Hall

We are moving forward with hiring an Interim Minister. If anyone has questions about the program or the decision for CSLN to hire one, please don’t hesitate to reach out to any board member or email us at admin@cslnashville.org.

Invitation from Unity

Unity has invited us to join them for brunch on August 4 after their service and before ours. Rev. John McLean, Unity's former minister, is returning to speak at their Sunday service. Join Unity in welcoming Rev. John McLean back.

Check out the Property

It’s been a little over 4 months since we moved to Unity’s Campus and it is beautiful! If you are not aware, there is a labyrinth, a meditation space, and various spaces where groups can gather on over 9 beautiful acres. If you haven’t done it already, take a walk around the property, walk the labyrinth, find a special place for prayer or meditation and check out this wonderful space!

Financial Reporting

We are changing the way we report finances in the newsletter. Rather than reporting on a weekly basis, we will report the previous month financials in the first newsletter of the month. Going forward, we will include our total revenues and expenditures.

Online Service Chat Box Volunteers Needed

CSLN is looking for a few volunteers from our online community to moderate the YouTube chat box on Sunday mornings. This is a great opportunity for our members who prefer watching our service online to get involved and help our online viewers connect. You'll be provided some tools to get you started and can volunteer for as many Sundays per month as you like. Contact Rekell at admin@cslnashville.org if you are interested.

CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

A New Earth – Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose

Rev. Denise Yeargin requests you join her in studying and discussing Eckhart Tolle’s enlightened book: “A New Earth – Awakening to Your Life’s Purpose.”

In his best selling sequel to the spiritual guide, The Power of Now, Eckhart Tolle expands on his life changing ideas to show how transcending our ego-based state of consciousness is not only essential to personal happiness, but also the key to ending conflict and suffering throughout the World.

Rev. Denise will lead us in exploring how our attachment to the ego creates the dysfunction that leads to anger, jealousy, and unhappiness, and learn how to awaken to a new state of consciousness and follow the path to a truly fulfilling existence.

We will meet via Zoom starting Thursday, August 1st from 6:30pm to 8pm for 5 weeks. The cost is $100 for this non-certified class. Practitioners and staff ½ off.

Book Available in our Bookstore during July and via Amazon.com

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

 Rev. Marla Sanderson, RScP

Today I take time to remember the magnificent Spirit that has given me life. As I tune in to that Perfect Spirit, I remember that I, too, am a part of Its magnificence. The Mind of God is my mind now. The Love of God fills my being and blesses my life in every possible way. The Life of God blesses my body as it heals and energizes my entire being. The Creative Mind of God shows me the perfect ideas that bring about the highest and best outcomes for me. As I remember this Truth about myself, I also know that this wonderful Truth applies to everyone – those I know and those I don’t. Divine Love expands my idea of goodness and Love to include every living thing. What a wonderful feeling it is to be overflowing with Divine Love! I am so grateful for this Truth and for the love and happiness it brings to all. I release these words of Truth to the Creative Law of Mind. Today I help another remember their magnificence. And so It is!
