THIS WEEK'S TALK BY

REV. CATH DEPALMA

"In This Together"

It’s an interesting business living the One Life of Spirit together, isn’t it? The world is going to do what the world is going to do. The saving grace is that we can still live the life of our dreams, in the midst of whatever is going on. Heaven is before us, in the middle of whatever difficulty there is. We just have to believe it and it will be so! - Rev. Cath DePalma

For the past 7 years, Rev. Cath has helped communities move through transition as an Interim Minister for Centers for Spiritual Living. She has authored 2 books with a 3rd one on the way: I Do My Best Work Behind the Scenes. Previously, she served as Co-Director of Central Florida CSL, (Orlando), with her husband, John, for 26 years. Currently she lives in Kelowna, British Columbia with her husband, enjoying the great Northwest.

GUEST ARTIST

Miss Jackie Wilson

Miss Jackie Wilson has one of those voices that you will never forget. She started singing at the age of three, inspired by her mother’s musical influence. Her music can be described as a mix of Ann Peebles, Aretha Franklin, Joss Stone, Chaka Khan, and a little Whitney Houston. When she sings, Jackie won't just sing to your soul, she'll touch, and inspire it! Notably, Jackie was a Season 10 Top 40 American Idol Finalist. She wowed the judges and audiences worldwide. Jackie headlined four years at Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar, located in Printer's Alley in Nashville. She helped build a stellar Saturday night that folks came to Nashville just to experience! When she takes the stage hold on to your seat and prepare for a musical journey reminiscent of the feeling music gave you back in the day with a flare of something new, authentic, and fiercely different that is only....Miss Jackie Wilson!

Turkey and dressing will be provided with the rest of the fixings as a potluck. CLASSES & WORKSHOPS

Creating our Beloved Community!

Join Rev Cath DePalma via Zoom as we read and discuss Jim Lockard’s visionary book: Creating the Beloved Community: A Handbook for Spiritual Leadership.

Creating The Beloved Community is about the qualities, attitudes, and practices that are needed to manifest the kind of world envisioned by Howard Thurman and Dr. Martin Luther King. Jr., a world of peace and harmony. The book speaks of the leadership qualities needed to create such a beloved community, including cultural evolutionary awareness, presencing, and psychological awareness of our own and others' development. Join Rev Cath as we begin conversations about creating a Beloved Community!

Please go to our website (cslnashville.org under Calendar/Classes) or click the link below to sign up for this important class.

SPIRITUAL MIND TREATMENT

 Alan Woodard, RScP

There is one loving Spirit, one infinite mind and creative source in the universe and I am one with this divine presence and spirit. It operates in me, as me and through me now and the forever now. I declare my own true nature is guiding me each day to create a sacred space and time to be at one with the divine. I bestow this loving gift to myself knowing it will blossom into eternal wisdom, unlimited joy, dynamic creativity and true peace of mind. I have no doubts or fears that old habits or patterns of belief will keep me from my purpose of experiencing my connection with all the goodness of life. I give great gratitude and say thank you Spirit for this magnificent gift. I am whole and I express the feeling that life belongs to me. Thank you, God ! I now release this my word to the law knowing it is so, I let it be so and So It Is!
