The 35th annual Kids Day was a tremendous success with more than $318,000 donated our generous community. Thank you to our media partners, ABC30 Action News and The Fresno Bee, for their continued dedication to this beloved community event; our Super Kid, Big Kid and Kid at Heart Sponsors for their incredible commitment to Valley Children's mission; and to the countless members of our community who gave so generously in support of our patients and families.
Since the inaugural Kids Day, this beloved community event has raised more than $10.7 million to meet the most immediate needs of patients at Valley Children’s Hospital.

Donations through Kids Day will help children like our Kids Day Ambassador, Olivia, pictured at right. With the expert team at Valley Children’s, Olivia underwent lifesaving treatments and a procedure to address her stage four Wilms tumor diagnosis.
On October 13, 2021, Olivia turned five years old and got to ring the “No Mo’ Chemo” bell at the Hospital with her family and care team.
This Central Valley tradition continues to make an impact and allows us to provide life-saving care for generations to come. We look forward to seeing everyone again in 2023!

Hearts of Harvest Foundation, a Tracy-based nonprofit dedicated to helping families meet financial challenges when their child is in need of medical attention, generously donated $20,000 to support the Claude and Betty Lou Laval Angel Fund at Valley Children’s Hospital. The Laval Angel Fund provides financial support to families who are in greatest need at Valley Children’s by easing the burdens that occur during their child’s medical treatment by helping to pay for non-medical financial needs like rent for families who take extended absences from employment to manage their child’s care, or car repairs to travel to and from the hospital. Mr. Claude C. Laval III generously matches up to $100,000 annually in gifts made to support the Laval Angel Fund.
Since 2000, the Hearts of Harvest Foundation has generously supported efforts to prevent heart disease in children by supporting research and education, and offered financial assistance to families in crisis with children who have a heart condition. "Taking the edge off the financial and emotional burden from families going through a medical crisis was and still is the driving force behind why I help to lead Hearts of Harvest Foundation,” said Becki B. Brown with Hearts of Harvest Foundation. “Giving is the joyful surrender to a greater cause.”
We are tremendously grateful to the Hearts of Harvest Foundation and its dedicated board of directors for their generous support!

Valley Children's Hospital celebrated IHOP National Pancake Day on March 1 this year. From 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., customers stopped by their local IHOP restaurants to get a free short stack of pancakes in exchange for a donation to Valley Children's Hospital!
Rob Saroyan, President of Valley Children's Healthcare Foundation, was live with Gabe Salazar from KSEE24/CBS47 sharing about National Pancake Day from the Clovis location, along with a guest appearance by George the giraffe. IHOP has been a proud CMN Hospitals partner since 2006. In that time, IHOP has raised nearly $29 million for local children's hospitals nationwide. We are grateful for IHOP's continued support!
