Hello Circle,
We are excited to tell you that we are holding member weekend pop-up events at the Circle Craft store on Granville Island from October 16 to December 18. There are 10 available weekend dates. Depending on demand, we may also add Thursday/Friday dates.
This is an exciting opportunity for you to showcase and sell your work. Sharing your story and your processes with the shoppers is powerful. Meeting the artist is a big draw for many who like to buy handmade. For members who have lost show opportunities this fall and winter, this is the perfect way to sell in your store and give customers the chance to get to know you. You may also want to consider working on your craft if space permits!
We will market these pop up events on our website and all our social media platforms . Additionally, we are working on creating a large email blast and collaborating with Granville Island marketing resources to get the word out.
Here's how it will work:
- Book a weekend slot below on a first come basis. Hours will be 10-5 both days. Setup time will be arranged with store staff.
- You or an approved representative must be present in store during the event to speak about and sell your work.
- You must be fully vaccinated to take part in this event, as are all store staff. Customers, staff and members are also required to wear a mask while in the store.
- You will have a designated area in the store to showcase your work.

Sales of work you bring in exclusively for this event will pay 75% back to you at the end of the month. Weekend sales of work you already have in the store will be paid out at the regular rate.
- We will ask you to provide some new photos to use in social media and marketing, and any write-up you would like us to use. A photo of you working on your art would be amazing :)
