Jesus Loves You Ministry has been busy serving our campers, celebrating some successes and continuing to support those who are struggling. We rely on God for wisdom and strength for the challenges each day brings, and He provides.
Our outreach continues expanding and we are excited! Epic Community Resource Center in Englewood has provided JLY with office space to serve in that community. Our staff is there on a weekly basis to assist and minister to our homeless clients. Pray with us that our presence there will have a great impact and lives will be changed both physically and spiritually.
Sometimes solutions to homelessness are difficult and seemingly impossible, but occasionally we are able to transform “homeless and hopeless” into “home and hope”. Recently, a young couple came to us in
desperation. They had come to Florida on the invitation of family and promises of employment. After arrival, things fell through and this couple and their 3-month-old twin boys became homeless and afraid. Thankfully, they had family support back home in Ohio willing to help them reestablish themselves there. Jesus Loves You provided them with $200 gas cards to get them back home safely. Along with their thanks to JLY they sent an adorable picture of the twins. We are grateful that due to donor generosity, we were able to assist them and prevent the hardship of homelessness in their lives.
