Deal of the Month
It's a great deal for everyone when there's an opportunity to give back to the community. Here's a chance to clean out your closet and pass on your gently used winterwear to someone else. Through October 4th, H.O.P.E. is collecting new or gently used winter coats, pants, gloves, boots, hats, scarves and more for adults and kids. It's a great way to make good use of items you no longer need and donate them to a great cause.
If you are in need of winterwear, you can stop by the H.O.P.E. Thrift Shop on October 11th for the Winterwear Giveaway where all new and used donated items will be available just in time for the start of a hopefully snowy season.
H.O.P.E. stands for Helping Other People Everyday. H.O.P.E. is a private, nonprofit agency helping families and individuals with life's basic needs. Among other services, they have a backpack program for school-age kids, a diaper bank, summer produce program, winter soup program and more. Thrift shop purchases and donations help fund these and other programs.
You can also sign up to be a sponsor or benefactor and support the organization as they work to help those in need in the community.
