If you're looking to do some skiing that's a little off the beaten path, head to Lyndon Outing Club. With the latest batch of new snow, it's the perfect time to head to a hill that relies solely on natural snow.
LOC is an all-volunteer run organization that provides family-friendly and very affordable recreation options in the area including skiing. Summer offerings include a skate park and mountain bike park.
LOC offers day skiing on weekends and night skiing on Wednesdays, Fridays and Saturdays when conditions allow. Tickets for adults are just $15 and kids in the 8th grade and under pay just $10!
When it's not open for skiing, LOC welcomes anyone to enjoy sledding on the hill at no cost. Bring your own sled and play at your own risk.
Events happening this month at LOC include Rita Calkins Night on the 1st with hot dogs and smores around a bonfire.
