Lodging choices abound in the area whether you're here to get in a few days of pre-holiday R&R or are planning to call Burke home for the Winter.

The Burke White House is available for short or long term stays and is located in the heart of East Burke Village. The 3 bedroom home sleeps up to 10 people and features a Chef's kitchen, 3 sitting rooms, 2 porches and a deck. And, if the dog is getting in some vacation time - no problem - pets are allowed.

The Farmhouse at Kingdom Farm Lodge offers nightly, weekly or monthly rates and is located close to Burke Mountain. Built in the 1800's, it's been in the same family for five generations! The home offers 2 bedrooms, a full kitchen, laundry room and plenty of outdoor space for guests to enjoy including use of a gas grill and fire pit.

What's New in Burke

Changes are afoot in Burke! Simpson Brook Dispensary recently opened in East Burke Village. The cultivator-owned retail cannabis store offers pre-rolls, edibles and more. They sell their own flower along with a full product line from producers in Vermont.

Inner Dynamic Athletics is another new business venture in the area. IDA provides the tools to help you gain awareness of your own and others’ emotions and how to formulate productive responses, enhancing intrapersonal and interpersonal communication in order to improve team cohesion and enhance athletic performance. Owner Jill Mathers works with individual athletes, teams, coaches and non-athletes.

In September, The Burke Mountain Club welcomed its first ever Executive Director, Chris Emmons, who is also the new caretaker of the property with her husband, Nick. The historic building and grounds are meant to be a welcoming community space and are also home to the East Burke Library which has a wealth of information about the town history. Be sure to stop in and check it out when you're out and about in the village.
