Deal of the Month
There are always great and sometimes unexpected things to be found at local thrift stores. In this area, our go to place for vintage clothes, housewares, jewelry, sports gear, toys, gifts and more is H.O.P.E. in Lyndonville.
The letters stand for Helping Other People Everyday and that's just what your purchases help accomplish. H.O.P.E. provides many great services in our area for those in need including:
- The BackPack Program
- Clothing Voucher Program
- Start Up Home Packages
- Homeless Needs
New this summer and thanks to funding from the Vermont Foodbank, H.O.P.E. will have a weekly farmers' market type offering outside the shop. Local, fresh produce, dairy products and eggs will be available free of charge to those who are income eligible through TEFAP and to kids who receive food from the Backpack Program.
H.O.P.E. is open Tuesdays through Saturdays. Stop in - you never know what you might find or who you might help.
