2019 Distinguished Alumni Award Winners
The Alumni Board voted for the Distinguished Alumni Award recipients at their meeting on Saturday, April 27 and the following individuals were selected:
Outstanding Achievement Award
Teri (Hawks) Goodmann ’76
Presented for outstanding professional achievement and success.
Humanitarian Service Award
Linda (Parsons) Plamondon ’69
Presented for exceptional service to humanity through civic, faith-based, or educational endeavors.
Rising Star Award
April Schuller ’06
Awarded to alumna/us 35 years of age and younger who has made an impact in their career, community or contributions to Clarke.

Clarke 175th Commencement
Clarke University held its 176th commencement ceremony on Saturday, May 18, 2019, at 2 p.m. in the Robert and Ruth Kehl Center on the campus of Clarke University. The day began with a baccalaureate liturgy at 10 a.m. at which graduates received their academic hoods. This ceremony marked the final commencement for retiring president Sister Joanne Burrows.

Age: Entering grades 6-12

Dubuque Symphony Orchestra String Camp - JUNE 17-23
Age: Entering grades 7-12 (or musicians with min. 2 years ensemble experience) who play violin, viola, cello, or bass
