Dear Friends~
Greetings from Colorado and we hope you are enjoying this beautiful spring!
It is a season of growth at Polestar and we are so grateful: Our most ambitious garden yet is already producing and we are set for copious plantings in the weeks ahead; Construction on phase one goes well and weather permitting, we will be paving(!) the main roads next week; Our study and implementation of "Sociocracy" (Dynamic Self-Governance) continues and will inform all the legal documents of our emerging Community Owners Association; Our new (onsite!) temple and common room, after a minor remodel, are hosting ongoing meditations, kirtan, potlucks and various other meetings; With ecouragement from Colorado State University, we have entered the process for "Lifelong Communities" certification and are implementing creative initiatives that will enhance community life for all; Our Summer Programs this year will include a CSU internship program, youth camp, a Father's Day Celebration, Family Camp, Independence Day Celebration and more.
To hear more about all of this see below and also, please join us this Sunday for our monthly zoom meeting - see details below.
Also: When are you coming for a visit?! There are no bad times but summer can be especially fun and we have guest rooms available - we hope to see you soon!
Blessings,
From all your friends at Polestar
