2020 Tour des Farms
Connecticut Resource Conservation and Developmentis hosting a summer long statewide Tour des Farms event for riders to enjoy at their own pace and schedule. The event will include eight regional routes, each featuring 6-10 farms throughout the state. That’s over 75 farms getting direct support from their communities!

These rides aren’t just for avid cyclists – routes are listed with their level of difficulty, and each is just as fun on a motorcycle or in a car. Participants can practice physical distancing guidelines while getting outside and exploring all Connecticut agriculture has to offer.

New Haven Summer Saturdays Logo
Summer in New Haven is heating up this July for residents and visitors with the inaugural edition of “Summer Saturdays.” Restaurants, eateries, retailers, salons and experiential venues across the city are offering exclusive deals on select Saturdays throughout the month. 

The “Summer Saturdays” promotion will take place on July 11, 18 & 25 from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. Participating restaurants will offer exclusive, two-course prix-fixe lunch menu for $20 per person (excluding beverage, tax, and gratuity). Reservations are required. 

Retailers, eateries, cafes, hair salons and gaming venues will offer 20 percent off select merchandise, food and services (restrictions apply). Visitors will also experience live entertainment from local musicians in and around Chapel Street, College Street and on Broadway Island, each Saturday from 12pm -2pm. Travel Advisory
Effective 11:59 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24, 2020, anyone traveling into Connecticut, New York, or New Jersey from a state that has a new daily positive test rate higher than 10 per 100,000 residents or a state with a 10% or higher positivity rate over a 7-day rolling average are directed to self-quarantine for a 14-day period from the time of last contact within the identified state.
