New Haven Cocktail Week

New Haven Cocktail Week kicks off with Spirits Ball at High George - the new roof top restaurant at The Blake Hotel on August 18 from 2-5 p.m. Events continue nightly through August 23.

New Haven Craft Beer Fest

August 24 11 a.m.-5 p.m.

Now in its third year, downtown New Haven's ever outdoor craft beer festival will be held Saturday, August 24 in Temple Plaza at 160 Temple St. The event will feature unique and limited offerings from 30 local and regional breweries with over 60 beers tucked away in an intimate urban setting.

Summer's Last Roar at the Yale Peabody Museum

Big changes are coming to the Peabody. Find out more, and beat the heat too, at Summer’s Last Roar. To recognize the end of summer, the Museum will open its doors once again for a free day of fun. Check out a 4,000 year-old cookbook, search for the jaguar that’s hiding in one of galleries, get up close with some of our 13 million specimens, or maybe fit in one last visit to the Discovery Room before school starts again in September. You can also hear about the Peabody’s upcoming renovation that will bring a whole new look to a much-loved New Haven icon.

To celebrate the 50th anniversary of this iconic TV show, this year's Sunflower Maze pays tribute to 50 years and counting. We'll celebrate all August long in Connecticut's only Sunflower Maze.
