The 2018 PoCo Fest celebrates its 17th year as a free, wonderful, fun-filled family event. With carnival rides and games, crafts, business expo, live music, petting zoo and food galore, everyone is sure to have a good time.
13th Annual Shoreline Jewish Festival
August 5, 12-5 p.m.
Guilford Green

The festival features various styles of Jewish music, traditional and Israeli fair food (all kosher), an art and book sale, and children’s crafts and activities. This year’s musical lineup features East Rock Klezmer, White Shabbos, and Rocky and the Goldstein.

Connecticut Open - August 17-25

While women's tennis is the highlight of the Connecticut Open, the Men's Legends Events has become a tradition. On Thursday, August 23, following the women’s quarterfinal, Invesco Legends newcomer Tommy Haas will play James Blake, while John McEnroe will play Todd Martin on Friday, August 24 after the women’s semi-final. The winners of each matchup will compete in a final on Friday night.
