Greetings from Lourdes!
“Find your delight in the LORD who will give you your heart’s desire.” Psalms 37:4
While some of us tried to get some sleep last night after packing, others stayed up late to squeeze in one final visit to the Grotto before it was time to go back home. We met for one last morning Mass, celebrated by Archbishop Allen Vigneron, followed by breakfast before boarding the buses back to the Lourdes Airport.
We checked in and, after a delay, boarded the charter plane heading back to Baltimore-Washington International Airport (BWI), where many of us made connecting flights or boarded buses heading back home. Despite being tired, the return flight was buzzing with conversations and lots of laughs. We enjoyed the last time we would all be together for the 2024 Pilgrimage to Lourdes.
Now that we are back home and readjusting to the time change, we are so incredibly grateful to have been a part of this year's pilgrimage. We will never forget this weeklong journey and the lifelong friendships we made along the way.
