New Home,

Same Great Work!

It is my pleasure to greet you from our new home at the University of Connecticut School of Social Work (UConn SSW)! Innovations Institute, a University Institute, is comprised of 41 faculty and staff members (previously at the University of Maryland, Baltimore). We are thrilled to be part of a collaborative community with impactful and justice-focused work across the country and longstanding partnerships with Connecticut state agencies serving children and families.

Our team is hard at work establishing our new website and resources. Please

Our new learning management system, Innovations, is live! It houses the great trainings and webinars from our national centers listed below, from models such as Wraparound and FOCUS, and our unique offerings: Building Systems of Care, Unstuck and On Target, the AACAP Training Toolkit, and more!

We may have a new name and university home but our core values, the quality of our work, and our approaches to partnership and engagement remain the same. We continue to ground our work in research, a commitment to social justice, experience and expertise from the field, adult learning theory, and implementation science.

As we head into Martin Luther King, Jr. Day, I am inspired by his statement to fellow clergymen in 1963:

I hope we will continue to work together to identify underlying causes; design and implement equitable and sustainable solutions; and elevate the voices of those with lived experience.
