Hello Friends,

Spring is starting to peek around the corner, and somehow winter seems to have flown by. Maybe it’s the sunshine — Port Ludlow enjoys about half the rainfall of Seattle thanks to our location in the rain shadow.

Next time it’s pouring at home, check our webcams. You might find blue skies waiting here — perfect for a trail walk, a round of golf, or a peaceful paddle on the bay.

As I look out my office window, the mountains rise above the marina under bright blue skies — a view that truly never gets old. It’s one of those simple moments that reminds you why a quick getaway can make all the difference.

February brought many of you here to celebrate Valentine’s Day. We loved welcoming couples for cozy stays, memorable dinners, and a little extra romance. One of my favorite moments? Witnessing three separate marriage proposals over the weekend. Port Ludlow continues to be a place where special memories are made.

We’re also excited to introduce two new team members:

  • Ross McKee, Food & Beverage Manager: Ross brings deep hospitality experience and a genuine passion for service. He’s already making a positive impact, leading with warmth and focus as we continue elevating your dining experience.
  • Lisa Davis, Sales & Catering: Lisa joins our sales team alongside Senior Sales Manager Kristin McMahon and will oversee sales and catering operations. Her experience and energy will help us expand our group events, celebrations, and special gatherings.

If you’ve been thinking about a spring escape, a golf weekend, or planning something meaningful — now is a beautiful time to come see us.

Cheers,

Dan Ratigan

General Manager

P.S. Know someone who could use fresh air, mountain views, and a peaceful getaway? Forward this email and invite them to join our mailing list — we’d love to welcome them.
