As October draws to a close, the holiday spirit begins to stir here on the Olympic Peninsula. For me, this time of year is especially exciting, knowing that the next couple of months will be filled with gatherings of family and friends. There's something magical about how we draw closer to our loved ones—whether they live near or far. The older I get, the more I cherish these moments of simply being together with those who matter most.
One of the things I love most about this season is the role we get to play in helping create these joyful reunions for our guests. It's always a delight to meet visitors who’ve traveled from out of town to spend time with parents and grandparents. The excitement and warmth they bring is contagious, and it’s heartening to witness the happiness shared between generations.
As the holiday season approaches, I look forward to welcoming many of you to Port Ludlow. Whether you're reuniting with loved ones or simply seeking a festive escape, we've got plenty of events and experiences lined up to make your visit special. Save the Date
Mark your calendars for Friday, December 20th, when the bay comes alive with a spectacular Holiday Boat Parade!
Before the parade, from 3:30 pm to 4:30 pm, Santa Claus himself will be making a stop at the marina store—so don’t forget to bring the kids/grandkids for some holiday cheer!
Then, gather at Burner Point to enjoy the enchanting voices of carolers as they sing beloved Christmas songs from the deck of the Alaska Quest. Once the music fills the air, the lighted boat parade will set sail, spreading joy and holiday magic across the bay!
