October 2024

Greetings from Port Ludlow,

Greetings from Port Ludlow,

As always Summer feels way too short. I hope you all had the fortune to enjoy it while it was here. We hade a great summer here in Port Ludlow- we were lucky enough to host weddings, reunions and other celebrations at the Inn, The Marina stayed full all summer which brings a lot of smiling faces out enjoying all the fun things to do. The golf course, Oh My Goodness. If you have not played this summer put it on your list for this Autumn. It is so beautiful out there and I have to say I do not recall it being in better shape then it is right now. Every guest I speak with has raved about the excellent condition and beauty.

So here we are...with autumn closing in (little Bob Seger reference for those of us born in the 60s) luckily, for me at least, this is my favorite season of the year . I just love how it is almost a mix of summer and winter, the air gets cooler but we still get glimpses of the sun. The local farmers still have a great variety of produce but the fall colors are starting to show. If you are in a city, big community, or anywhere other then here in Washington state come on over to see us and see for yourself how amazing October is in Port Ludlow.

Lady Washington will be in port through this weekend, if you haven't gotten a chance to sail or tour the tallship don't miss your chance.

Cheers,

Dan Ratigan
