One of the many great things about our region is being able to experience the changing of the seasons. I love the fall- the way the leaves change colors and swirl to the ground, the cool crispness in the air and the smell of perfectly roasted squash provide that comforting atmosphere that is distinctly fall in the Pacific Northwest.
Spring is now upon us and arrives with its own irresistible allure and I find myself eagerly anticipating the fresh delights (like the first of the season delivery of Mystery Bay goat cheese!) that await. Farewell, for now, to kale and root vegetables and the comforts of fall and let's all embrace the promise of new beginnings.
From the beautiful blooms coloring the landscape to new crops from the farms for us to create new menus and longer days to get out and enjoy nature, spring brings a wave of new opportunities and experiences.
We look forward to introducing the new visitors to the sights and sounds of Port Ludlow and revel in the return of our loyal guests whose cherished memories beckon them back again.
