May 2022

Dear Friends,

We are finishing the Spring 2022 semester with a spirit of celebration and joy. Many of our annual spring campus events returned in their traditional form, bringing a renewed vibrancy. There have been multiple wonderful opportunities to acknowledge our students' academic, leadership, and athletic achievements, to experience their talented performances, and to enjoy the camaraderie that campus life events create.

A recent highlight for me was taking our Student-Athlete Advisory Committee on a tour of the Henry D. Bullock Health and Wellness Complex. These student leaders were enthusiastic about what this facility will mean to them, their fellow students, and the community as a whole. The entire student body also had the opportunity to attend a "sneak preview" to check out the building and learn about all the great programming that will be offered there in the fall.

In just a few short days we will welcome the Class of 2022 to the Long Magenta Line with our graduate and undergraduate Commencement ceremonies. We send them on their way with many blessings and with deep appreciation for the impact they have had during their time here.

With gratitude for each one of you and best wishes for the summer ahead,

President Sue Hasseler
