November 2023

Dear Friends,

As I attended the Master of Occupational Therapy (MOT) poster presentation held during an on-campus clinical weekend, I was struck by the power of Muskingum's mission to serve learners of all ages from all over the nation and the world. In addition to the excellent programs offered to undergraduate students on our campus, our virtual and hybrid adult learning programs expand Muskingum's impact to even broader audiences.

As we shared in the last Magenta Lines, our roster of graduate degrees has expanded to include a new Master's and Doctorate in Applied Leadership. We are excited to introduce you to Applied Leadership through a series of free online seminars in our Lessons in Leadership program. Topics center around real-world issues and include Ethical Leadership, Change Management, Goal Setting for Top-Level Leaders, Supporting Diverse Populations in Your Organization, and more. I invite you to attend the first seminar, Ethical Leadership, offered on both Nov. 15 and Nov. 21. The seminars will be recorded and made available for later viewing.

If you would like to learn more about any of our graduate or continuing education programs, I encourage you to visit our GCS website.

As always, this issue of Magenta Lines reminds us of the exceptional accomplishments of our students, faculty, staff, and alumni. As we move into this very special time of year, we are so grateful for this amazing community of learners, including each one of you!

With best wishes for a wonderful holiday season,

President Sue Hasseler
