A special thank you to Wawona Frozen Foods, the Smittcamp family and Wawona Frozen Foods employees for their incredible support through an annual giving campaign that has raised more than $647,000 for Valley Children's Hospital. This year, Wawona Frozen Foods employees contributed more than $25,000, and Wawona Frozen Foods and the Smittcamp family both matched their employees' contributions dollar for dollar. We are so grateful to Walmart for raising more than $300,000 during their annual campaign. As a partner through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals, our local Walmart locations fundraise to support Central Valley children receiving treatment at Valley Children's. Since 1987, more than $1 billion has been raised for children's hospitals across North America, including Valley Children's. Thank you to Walmart, their associates and their customers for supporting the children we serve.
Way to go, Walgreens! This year's fundraising campaign raised an incredible $34,561 to support Valley Children's. Walgreens is a partner through Children's Miracle Network Hospitals and has been raising funds to support Valley Children's since 1997. On behalf of the patients and families we serve, thank you to Walgreens, their employees and their customers for helping to ensure that kids get the treatment they need.
A big thank you to Fresno State Sigma Chi Fraternity for donating $30,000 to Valley Children's through their recent Derby Days event and other activities. In 2018, Fresno State's Sigma Chi chapter, a Children's Miracle Network Hospitals partner, raised more funds for their local children's hospital than any other Sigma Chi chapter in the nation. To date, Sigma Chi has raised more than $211,000! The brothers also brought lots of toys for our patients. We are so grateful to Sigma Chi for helping support the kids we serve.
The G.L. Bruno Family Foundation generously donated $10,000 to Valley Children's Hospital, raised during its annual golf tournament. Thank you to Mr. Gary Bruno and his entire team for continuing to support Valley Children's as a beneficiary of this outstanding charitable event, and to the many golfers who participated.

On November 2, the second annual Dance Marathon will be held at Fresno State. This fun event has participants dance for a cause. We are so grateful to Enterprise Rent-A-Car for sponsoring this year's event.

Dance Marathon is a movement powered by over 300,000 college students on 300 campuses across North America.
