BECAUSE YOU ASKED...

Homeopathy's Total Picture

As part of the homeopathic community, all of us like to understand the Total Picture. And, because you have recently asked great questions, we are sharing information about the various roles we all play in homeopathy's total picture. Take pride in your efforts to move the homeopathy profession forward. We are all part of an amazing Total Picture!

CHC Applicants, Candidates, and Certificants- Every CHC applicant, candidate, and certificant is working toward or has met and maintains a recognized standard of professional and ethical competence in classical homeopathy. The dedication and passion demonstrated by this group is unmatched!

Accreditation Commission for Homeopathic Education in North America (ACHENA)- Through the combined expertise of professional homeopaths, educators, accredited schools, homeopathy-support organizations, and public members, ACHENA assesses and accredits homeopathy schools and continuing professional development programs in the United States and Canada.

Accredited Homeopathy Schools in the US and Canada- ACHENA-accredited homeopathy schools and schools that are candidates for ACHENA accreditation offer homeopathy education and clinical training that meet CHC exam eligibility requirements. Accredited schools invest significant time and resources in the accreditation process so they can prepare students to become Certified Classical Homeopaths (CCH).

Council for Homeopathic Certification (CHC)In July 2017, the CHC was accredited by the National Commission for Certifying Agencies (NCCA). This impartial, third-party validation means the CHC's certification program meets recognized national and international credentialing industry standards for development, implementation, and maintenance. The CHC's exam eligibility and recertification policies involving education and continuing professional development comply with NCCA standards.

Homeopathy Advocates - Nationally-recognized NCCA standards help promote homeopathy as a viable healthcare discipline and provide access for homeopathy advocates to important policy-making conversations about our nation's healthcare. This year, homeopathy advocates have made great strides in communicating a clear, consistent message about how homeopathy fits into the total picture for healthcare.
