Dear Neighbor,
On Dec. 7, I was sworn into office as your state representative. I could not be more honored to serve you and the communities of Bowdoin, Bowdoinham and Richmond.
I am looking forward to working alongside my colleagues in the 131st Legislature to find solutions for the many challenges facing our state. We have a lot of work to do in the coming months, from addressing the rising cost of living and the threat of climate change to improving access to affordable housing and health care. We are ready to get started.
I was recently assigned to serve on the Health Coverage, Insurance and Financial Services Committee, as well as on the Inland Fisheries and Wildlife Committee. I'm really looking forward to learning about all of these issues covered by both committees.
This is the first of my regular e-newsletters, which I will use as a way to update you on my latest work in Augusta, offer helpful information and resources and connect you with your state government. You are also always welcome to reach out to my office at 207-287-1430.
I will also be holding office hours 43 Maine Street in Bowdoinham. In the coming weeks, I'll be making a sandwich board to have out front and on display so you know I'm in the office and available. I encourage you to stop by if you see it out!
If you do not wish to receive these updates from me, you can opt out by clicking the unsubscribe link at the bottom of this e-mail. Alternatively, you can contact my legislative aide, Olivia, at Olivia.Watson@legislature.maine.gov and she would be happy to remove you.
I am very thankful that you have entrusted me with this great responsibility, and I look forward to connecting with you over the next two years. In the meantime, please do not hesitate to reach out with any questions, concerns or suggestions that you have.
