Soon we will bid farewell to 2022. We'd like to take a moment to reflect on the incredible work that helps elevate the lives of children in our world. We have met some fabulous new organizations, like Girls Inc. of Alameda County (pictured above).
We have also reconnected with organizations that Milagro Foundation had funded many years ago, such as Little Wishes and Outright Vermont. It is inspiring to see the steady commitment of the once small grass roots agencies that have grown to become well respected and impactful non-profit institutions.
The dedicated leaders of these organizations are all heart and soul. It is these community leaders and change makers that are doing the essential work necessary to make a difference in the lives of under-resourced children.
This year the Milagro Foundation granted over $200,000 to non-profits working with children in the areas of health, education and the arts. Of that funding, $20,000 supported the crisis in the Ukraine. Some of Milagro's 2022 grantees are featured here.
Since 1998, Carlos Santana's Milagro Foundation has supported low income, under-resourced children in 37 states and 20 countries by granting almost 9 million dollars to 450 agencies working with children and youth. http://www.milagrofoundation.org/
