 Come meet photojournalist and activist David Bacon as he talks about issues facing migrant farm workers and his 30 years as an activist. Murder Mystery Talk at the Historic Fallon House

On the morning of May 27, 1896, the peaceful township of Campbell, California, awoke to shocking news that six people had been brutally murdered. The most heinous crime in county history at the time triggered a massive, nation-wide manhunt that led to a decades-long and ultimately fruitless pursuit of justice. Come hear author Tobin Gilman talk about his new book. Copies of the book will be available for purchase and signing. The year we are embarking on a project to photograph 101 of the Museum’s most significant artifacts, with the ultimate goal of creating both a virtual and a physical exhibition to share with the community. A huge thanks to Dave Monley, professional photographer and husband of HSJ’s Board Chair Elizabeth Monley.

101 Artifacts

1899 Osen & Hunt Automobile Dave has accepted the challenge of photographing everything from the Apple 1 computer to vehicles like the one pictured here.
