 GAI Consultants (GAI) welcomes Greg R. Platt, PE, Assistant Engineering Manager, to the firms Southeast Transportation group, eminent domain team. Mr. Platt brings 20 years experience in the engineering industry, specializing in property analysis and design in support of right-of-way appraisals. In his new role, Greg is currently focused on parcels for Central Floridas I-95/St Johns Heritage Parkway Interchange, Econlockhatchee Trail, and Boggy Creek Road South. Greg is an active member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and will serve GAI's clients from the Orlando office.

Orange County, FL
GAI provided services for the Valencia College Lane roadway widening project in Orange County, FL. This project included widening a two-lane rural roadway to a four‑lane divided urban roadway with bicycle lanes; sidewalks; and curb, gutter, storm sewer system, retention pond, and replacement screen wall improvements.

Rusty Sievers, PE Receives ASHE National Lifetime Achievement Award

On May 21, The American Society of Highway Engineers (ASHE) presented GAI Consultants Senior Engineering Manager Jeffrey M. Rusty Sievers, PE with their 2016 National Lifetime Achievement Award at the 2016 ASHE National Conference in Pittsburgh, PA. ASHE established the award to recognize a member who has supported the organization and made other notable achievements throughout their career.
