If you have never received one of these from me before, your email address must have just fallen into my (or my company's) address book/database within the past year. Since 2003, I have ridden my bike long distances in support of the National MS Society or Dana-Farber Cancer Institute and I shamelessly and indiscriminately solicited donations from anyone whose email address I possessed.
So you haven't been singled-out. You are one of thousands. Please don't be offended or feel pressured. Delete at will....or (please) read on.
This weekend I will ride 192 miles in my 15th Pan Mass Challenge in support of the Dana Farber Cancer Institute.
Why do I still do this? Because cancer is still a thing. I ride to honor my dad and friends who didn't beat cancer. I ride to honor survivors like my mom and my 32 year-old niece and godchild, Kaitlyn...and to make sure they keep beating it.
I ride because nearly every year, there's someone I didn't expect to get cancer that does. 14 months ago, my father-in-law was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is still in treatment. Each of the past two years, a member of my PMC team has been diagnosed with cancer. But survival rates keep increasing thanks to research funded by the PMC...through donations from people like you.
If you are going to pledge, the easiest way is to CLICK HERE and do it on-line NOW... (there's even a Venmo link)
Or checks made out to "Pan Mass Challenge" can be mailed to 312 Nagog Hill Road, Acton, Ma 01720
THANKS!!!
Last year, you put my lifetime PMC fundraising well over the $128K mark! Thank you!
