#GivingTuesday with Calm Waters

When James returned home to his family after serving as a sniper in the Gulf War, the nightmares and PTSD were more than he could bear. On Mother's Day 2018, James ended his life, leaving his wife, Amberly, and their red-headed 9-year-old son, Ethan, without the man they both loved so deeply. Shortly after James' death, Amberly and Ethan were referred to Calm Waters by their counselor.

For  #GivingTuesday , Ethan and his mom Amberly have decided to support Calm Waters because they want to give back to the safe place that helped them through their grief journey.
Our peer support groups at school & at our Center are often the first time a child meets another child their age who also has experienced the death of a loved one. The connections and coping skills they experience through Calm Waters can be the foundation for much-needed healing.

A $33 gift provides one night of support for a child in grief. $150 supports a night of grief support for the whole family.

We invite you to join the global generosity movement of Giving Tuesday by donating a $33 gift to Calm Waters today.

Thank you,
