Ribbon-Cutting Ceremony & Grand Opening
The Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus will open to the public with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, July 1.
The pool will then remain open from 10 a.m.-6 p.m. that day.
The campus is located on the corner of Laurel Avenue and Sixth Street. Within it sits the entry building, pool building, community swimming pool and wellness center. The wellness center will open at a later date in the fall.
After the ribbon-cutting ceremony, guests will experience the 6,000 square foot swimming pool with features including heated water, zero-depth entry, a water slide, lap lanes and a concrete pool deck.
To enter the Grindley Aquatic & Wellness Campus, individuals will need to present a Daily or Season Chautauqua Pass. Wrist bands will be issued daily for pool access.
Hours of Operation
The pool will operate during the following hours. A break is scheduled for the last 15 minutes of every hour.During the family open swim, the water slide will also be open. Children must be 48" tall to use the water slide.
- Lap Swim: 7-8:30 a.m.
- Swim Lessons & Water Classes: 8:30-11 a.m.

- Open Swim: 11 a.m.-6 p.m.
- Open Swim: 10 a.m.-6 p.m.
