Veterans Bridge Home is joining forces with The Independence Fund and Second Harvest Food Bank of Metrolina to provide emergency food packages for veterans in need. (Read more)

A decade ago, Charlottean Tommy Norman started Veterans Bridge Home to help the steady stream of veterans returning from service in Iraq and Afghanistan looking for jobs, homes and schools for their children. (Read more)

Veterans’ isolation and stress from the C oronavirus pandemic  could increase their chances of  suicidal thoughts , but health experts are warning that the worst impacts to their mental health could come after the immediate crisis is over. (Read more)

The Urban Ministry Center and Charlotte Men's Shelter have picked a new name following their merger last year: Roof Above.   (Read more)

Virtual Financial Workshop

Join us on Thursday, May 21st from 12:30-1:30 for the Better Money Habits - Financial Awareness Class on financial guidance to help with the impact of Coronavirus. The impacts of the Coronavirus have had a significant effect on nearly all of our lives. This class is intended to help by providing ways to ease the strain on your budget today. Register here.
