Gronk and the Gronk Nation Youth Foundation's generous donation will fund the complete renovation of the Charlesbank Playground on the Esplanade. The new playground will modernize the current playscape and bring more accessible equipment to ensure that kids of all levels and abilities will be able to enjoy the space and have access to equipment that allows them to strengthen their bodies and imagination!
A special thank you to Governor Charlie Baker, Secretary Kathleen Theoharides, DCR Commissioner Jim Montgomery, State Representative Jay Livingstone, State Senator Sal DiDomenico, Susan Hurley, and our partners of 20 years at DCR for making this monumental project for the Esplanade possible.
