We are very pleased that our leadership position with our manufacturing partners provides industry leading LED product that gives us the opportunity to design and supply LED lighting for; exterior parking lot applications, showroom, office and service areas. These designs and products provide LED lighting solutions that out perform traditional fixtures and provide energy savings that can exceed over 60%. Whether it is new construction or retrofit, the ROI (return on investment) with these LED solutions can show a 2-4 year payback. The Guelph Public Health Center has been designed to accommodate a range of private, semi-private and public spaces. Modern clinic rooms will assist with the provision of comprehensive client care: travel clinics, sexual health and testing, dental clinics, prenatal healthcare, and immunizations. +VG architects has provided WDGPH with high level functional building designs with full and complete adherence to public health safety protocol and standards. Reception area and public waiting areas, at the main entry, are fully visible to enforce intuitive navigation and security. This facility incorporates a transparent design allowing light to go deep into the centre of the building. Light passes through to a three story atrium which is enhanced with rows of highly effective LED pendant light fixtures to compensate for the evening and night time use.
Key features in the design that help achieve this include:
1. Energy-efficient LED and T5 lighting
2. Low voltage lighting control system and occupancy sensors for interior lighting control
3. Photocell control of exterior lighting
4. Plug load control in office areas
