For over 100 years, Excelsior has been a trusted nonprofit innovator, serving Spokane’s youth with compassion and commitment. Now, we’re breaking ground on a first-of-its-kind 25-unit intergenerational apartment complex.

This transformative housing model is designed to disrupt the pipeline from foster care to homelessness, connecting young adults with older adults seeking stable, affordable housing. Together, they’ll build a community rooted in mentorship, stability, and connection.

This project aligns with Spokane’s goals for inclusive development and affordable housing, and reflects the power of public-private-nonprofit collaboration. It’s part of a broader vision for the Excelsior Wellness Village, which includes vocational training, childcare, housing, and wellness services, all aimed at creating stronger futures and a stronger Spokane.
