RE:                           Group Insurance coverage for a.) Directors & Officers, b.) General Liability and c.) Crime

 

It's that time of year again to learn which clubs wish to take advantage of group rates by participating in the above three insurance policies with coverage from 1 September 2019 through 31 August, 2020.

 

To submit accurate information (number of clubs/number of total members) needed to obtain premium quotes, we must know by the end of July which clubs wish to participate in this coverage.

 

At this point in time, if we have a similar number of clubs/members participating as we did for the 2018/2019 term, it's anticipated the 2019/2020 premium rates will be very similar to the 2018/2019 rates.

 

Those 2018/2019 rates were:

 

Directors & Officers (D&O) coverage at $188.95 per club

 

Crime coverage at $66.69 per club

 

General Liability coverage at $2.17 per club member as of June 1st (and was based on 1,661 total participating members)

 

Consequently, once renewal rates are confirmed for each policy, invoices to each participating club will be customized to reflect their respective share of the D&O plus Crime coverage by number of participating clubs and General Liability coverage by the number of members in each club.

 

At your earliest convenience, please let both Skål USA's Administrators and me know if your club does or does not wish to participate in this coverage by replying to SkalUSAAdministrators@skalusa.org with a "yes" or "no".

 

If we do not receive a response from your club by the end of June, we will assume your club will not participate in this 2019/2020 group insurance coverage.
