"Great things in business are never done by one person. They're done by a team of people." – Steve Jobs

If you look closely, you’ll see continuous growth and collaboration among the teams working to make Grand Lake a place where people want to live, work, visit, invest, and retire. The Grove Area Chamber of Commerce is proud to partner with a variety of committees focused on initiatives such as holiday shopping, marketing, manufacturing, workforce development, 2026 calendar planning, membership development, housing, retail growth, and more.

If you’re not yet plugged into one of these areas but are interested in serving, we encourage you to reach out — there are some exciting opportunities and projects ahead for 2026 and now is a great time to get involved.

Our Shop Grand Lake holiday shopping experience officially launches Friday, November 7th! Last year, more than 42,000 tickets were distributed, and we expect to exceed that number this season. Want to help? Start by shopping local first — every purchase made here strengthens our community and keeps dollars circulating in the 74344 area. Join the team effort to grow our economy and position Grove and Grand Lake for continued success. Sales tax collections are up, and together, we can keep that momentum going!

The deadline to sign up as a participating merchant in Shop Grand Lake is October 24th — don’t miss your chance to be part of this exciting initiative!

Looking ahead, our Job & Career Fair will be held Monday, October 27th, from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Grove Community Center. We already have a strong lineup of participants. If workforce recruitment is a challenge for your business, contact us soon — space is limited! Booths are free for Chamber members, but they’re filling quickly.

Thanks for supporting the GACC. Together, we truly do achieve more.

The day kicked off with City Manager/City Attorney Darren Cook with an informative slideshow. The group then headed over to the Grove Police Department for a tour with Chief Mark Morris. From there, they checked out the brand-new Police Training Center, where they rolled up their sleeves for domestic violence response training with Chief Morris and hands-on sessions with Assistant Fire Chief Rocky DeSilva and some of our amazing Grove firefighters. Route 66 Update

October 9th, the Grove Area Chamber held the State of the Region Lunch Forum, Regional Route 66 Update, at Har-Ber Village on Grand Lake O' The Cherokees. The special guest speaker, Ken Busby with the Route 66 Alliance, is helping lead the way for the upcoming Route 66 Centennial Celebration that will take place in 2026. He spoke to the group about the history of the United States roadway development and how Historic Route 66 came to be. He then gave information about the Centennial special events coming up and encouraged everyone to use the event to promote our community; to recruit non-locals into Northeast Oklahoma as they travel the historic mother road. Thank you to a great group that supported the event; to Ken with his amazing presentation; The Eagle's Nest, which catered a delicious lunch; and the Har-Ber Village staff, the Event Tent was the perfect venue!
